Skeptical Science is now available as an app for the iPhone or iPod. This allows you to use an iPhone or iPad to view the entire list of skeptic arguments as well as (more importantly) readily access what the science says on each argument.
They’ve designed two prototypes, the Twin Wall and the Glass Plus. They will reduce the injuries and costs associated with pub fights, if not the urge to pop one over your mate’s head.

The Donnybrook Quarter (London, England) looks very similar to the accommodation between Smithfield and Manor Street (Dublin, Ireland).
Super-Kamiokande, or Super-K for short, is a neutrino observatory in the city of Hida, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. The observatory was designed to search for proton decay, study solar and atmospheric neutrinos, and keep watch for supernovas in the Milky Way Galaxy.
“Primates” places him – both as photographer and as subject – in inhospitable terrains to contrast the vulnerability of the human body with the stark roughness of nature.

What started out as an exercise in model building and photography, ended up as a dream-like reconstruction of the town I grew up in. It’s not an exact recreation, but it does capture the mood of my memories.
